Sharing Groups

Introduction to Sharing Groups

Sharing Group is a wonderful opportunity for us to walk with others during the School. It is a place to share about our experiences during the week, and to hear about the miracles that God is working in each of us. It is a place to rejoice in God’s marvellous works, and a place to find comfort in difficult times. It is a place to form deep, lasting friendships.

Remember that everything shared in the context of Sharing Group is confidential, and should remain within the Group. Please respect the trust that your Group places in you. Your Group Leaders are available to help you with any questions you may have about the School. If you have problems that you need help with, they should be your first point of contact. If they are unable to resolve them directly, they will help you to find the right person to speak to for your needs.

Sharing Group Names

Summer School is about conversion. It is an opportunity for us to respond to God’s call upon our lives. In keeping with this theme, we have named the Sharing Groups after books in the bible, inspired by the Holy Spirit and written by people who heard and answered God’s call. Take time to read and reflect, and let them be an inspiration to you in your journey with the Lord.

Jobs for Sharing Groups

There are many things that need to be done around the School. We have allocated tasks to each Sharing Group, to be completed from 1:00 each day, unless otherwise specified. Please take special care and responsibility to be faithful in carrying out your job on each day. Take the time to note what job you have, and where you need to be at a particular time. See your Sharing Group Leader if you have any questions or problems.

Doing our jobs is a great way to carry out Christian service and allow the School to run smoothly for everyone.
