This lecture series seeks to give the Christian faith perspective on the meaning of death, the reality of judgement, the wonder of heaven, the necessity of purgatory, the existence of hell, the glory of the resurrection of the body, the expectation of the Second Coming of the Lord and the last judgement. The aim is to offer a vision of hope and mercy rather than a message of doom and gloom. Our pilgrim journey here on earth only makes sense and finds its real purpose when we view it through the lens of eternity. Presentations will cover:

Who is Fr Ken Barker MGL?
Fr Ken is the Founder of the Missionaries of God's Love (MGL), a consecrated group within the Disciples of Jesus Covenant Community. Fr Ken experienced a deepening of his vocational call when he responded to a call of the Lord to place his life under the grace of the Charismatic Renewal. Fr Ken is author of many books about living life in the Holy Spirit, his most recent being Eternity, a compelling vision for how life after death impacts the way we live our life on earth. He is Director of the Summer Schools of Evangelisation around Australia and also has a vision for evangelisation of young people in Asia and the Pacific region.
